My apologies for going ghost once again. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, I am GONE.

This time, it was a family cruise to celebrate the maternal unit’s 59th birthday. (Yes, we were on Carnival. No, we were perfectly fine.)

The reason I mention it? On our last full day at sea, I talked to one of the jewelers in the shop after he mentioned slight back pain. After telling him about bio freeze, it turned out that he studied aikido. And he was equally delighted when I mentioned BJJ. The next 5 minutes invoked us happily discussing walking through a couple self-defense techniques while my mom & aunt watched. (The maternal unit is both used to & amused by this sort of thing happening around her).

BJJ is a lot like VISA. Everywhere you want to be. So, Milos: if you ever stumble on this, stay groovy & catch that overhook!

Tonight marks the one-week anniversary of Leslie & Kevin’s marriage! Her husband has even promised to give BJJ a try once he’s finished school! Congrats again, you guys!

Sorry for the recent radio silence, guys. My teammate Leslie is getting married, & I’m one of the bridesmaids, so this tumblr was kind of on the back-burner for a bit. The good news is, today’s the big day! I promise I’ll be back bearing tales soon.

I can hear some of you asking, “2G1M, how could you possibly combine BJJ & a wedding?”

The answer? The groom & his men have to submit the father of the bride & the bridesmaids before the priest starts the ceremony.

Wait, those are my dream wedding plans. Oops. Stay tuned, & I’ll come back with the actual BJJ/wedding moments!

I spent my entire work day converting some of my company’s firms into grayscale. As such, the new file names had to end with “gsfinal”.

Regarding Mr. Stark’s proposed St. Patrick’s Day celebration:

The short answer is, “No.”

The long answer is, “Hell, no.”

Slightly off topic, but not really, as Leslie & I went out for her bachelorette party last night. Our only regrets? That we didn’t bring a gi or ride the mechanical bull. (Because a gi-clad mechanical bull ride would have just been awesome)

On the advice of the Prince George’s County Police Sexual Assault Unit, I am going to post this publicly.

The situation has been reported to them with as much relevant detail that I currently know — to include the allegations of sexual assault on a girl as young as 14. This has all been noted, and the police will be familiar with the situation if any victims are willing to come forward.

However, victims will need to come forward personally in this situation. An official police report cannot be filed until this happens. The officer I spoke with stressed how important it was that ALL victims come forward because it will greatly help the investigation.

The officer also stressed that there is nothing for the victims to fear. There are procedures in place to protect any victims that come forward. Everyone in the Sexual Assault Unit was very helpful and understanding. They are professionals and will help all of the victims obtain justice.

They asked that I provide their direct line for any victims to come forward. That number is 301-772-4908. Again, this is the direct line to the Prince George’s County Police Sexual Assault Unit, so you won’t have to wait while going through the dispatcher. Just reference the situation here, and they will know what you are talking about.

Please repost this in the other forums and blogs if you can.For those of you who have been following my other posts this is the same guy who’s students violently raped one of his female students in a garage under false pretenses of giving her a ride home to her friends. It was also the same guy who was accused of gang rape back in college but turned witness and said that he “couldn’t get it up” so no penetration happened. This dude is a blight on the MA community.

If I can possibly reach someone who is helped by this message I can’t afford not to pass it along.
